I just found out i was prego 2 dayz ago and i want the names picked out asap.. if it is a girl her name will be Aaliyah Serenity Rayn and if itz a boy i wanted Dereon as his first name but wat do you think about Jaedyn Jordan Antonio(or Anthony)
What do you think about these baby names?
i like jeadyn jordan.. but i think anthony sounds better than antonio
Reply:i think they are all nice
Reply:I honestly love both of the names but Aaliyah is pretty popular, or at least to me it is.
I think that Rayn Serenity would be a nice name also. ^_^
Serenity Rayn is good but I like how Rayn Serenity sounds.
Reply:Have you been on Maury or are you planning on going soon?
These names are the type of names that white trash girls (who need a paternity test to figure out who the dad is) name their babies.
No, they are trashy because trash use them, obviously. You don't have to name her Barbara - and you sure as hell shouldn't name her Aaliyah Serenity Rayn for God's sake.
Her is a good rule of thumb. Watch Maury for a week - write down all the babies names - don't use them! Avoid spelling names stupidly or with extra 'y's. It makes you look uneducated and in turn makes your child look uneducated.
For example you have take a super popular/trashy name like Jaden and made it EVEN WORSE! Jaedyn - are you kidding me? Do you want people to think you are a 15 year old high school drop out?
Reply:they are both nice name .but Jaedyn Jordon Antonio has a ring to it.Let me know what you decide it is your choice that matters.p.s. talk to the dad about it too.
Reply:No way, they are all dodgy!
Reply:Well, I'm going to risk it and tell you that I would drop the name Aaliyah. People use that name a LOT when they want a feminine, "unique" name. And all I think of when I hear it is that black R%26amp;B artist who was in the one vampire movie who died in a plane crash a couple years ago. It's like naming your daughter Evita or Madonna or something. It just carries weird baggage.
I also think spelling Rayn with a Y reads like you're forcing it. I would maybe put an E at the end. Then it would be kind of like the last name "Payne," like there is some reason you would do that.
I would also suggest the name Ariadne as a unique, feminine name. It's prounounced "Air-ee-add-knee." It's the name of an obscure Greek goddess. It's got a beautiful cultural significance, and would be different from Susie or Barbara, but also grounded in cultural history, so you wouldn't have to deal with people thinking your daughter's name was "trashy."
I love Jaedyn for a boy, but I'd spell it Jaden or Jayden. I don't like names that end in -YN, they look so .. Southern backwoods to me, for some reason. Like Jamie Lyyn or something, you know? Just off and fake-original.
I don't think Jaedyn Jordan is good. It's like naming someone William Fitzwilliam or something. It's jarringly repetitive.
In fact, I would avoid any pairing than doubles up the "en"-sound ending. For example, avoid: Jayden Jason, Jayden Stephen, etc. Even Jayden William sounds funky.
Maybe pairing a trendy name with something more classic would be good? Possibly:
Jayden Connor
Jayden Hunter
Jayden Joseph
Jayden Joel
Jayden Harper
Jayden Travis
Jayden Davis
Jayden Forrest
Jayden Dean
Reply:Congrats!
I love your girl's name!
Dereon Antonio is a strong sounding name.
