Hey, guys. So, I'll be 19 in April, and I found out (yesterday) that I'm pregnant for the 3rd time. It'll be my current boyfriend's 1st (2nd, if you consider the miscarriage we just suffered)! But, we're completely stuck on names. We're trying to think of some, but we could use your guys' help. Choosing a name is such a personal thing that it's really hard to give advice! Have you checked out baby name websites? http://www.babynamesworld.com/ has a ton of names, their meaning and origin. You could also look back through your family tree. We chose simple, more traditional names for our children, but stayed away from family names so that there were no hurt feelings, but my sister named her two boys after uncles. If you are religious, you could look through the Bible.

Choosing a name is such a personal thing that it's really hard to give advice! Have you checked out baby name websites? http://www.babynamesworld.com/ has a ton of names, their meaning and origin. You could also look back through your family tree. We chose simple, more traditional names for our children, but stayed away from family names so that there were no hurt feelings, but my sister named her two boys after uncles. If you are religious, you could look through the Bible.

Boys - Ramone is the only one that I think of as a boys name. Jaystin is OK, but why not "Justin"? "Jay" is becoming more of a girl's name so "Jaystin" might sound feminine to some. Calling him Maverick or Danger is interesting but could get him picked on. Besides, Maverick and Laker remind me too much of NBA teams.

By the sound and intentional misspelling of the names I am assuming you are a low income african american or that you associate with them. african americans in low income communities choose these names unconsciously to show their loyalty to their race and community. Unfortunately the name will later cause discrimination against your child. He will be less likely to get a respectable job with a name like that. It's perfect for drive-by's though.
You should do some research in social economics real quick to find some normal names that won't stigmatize him/her.

I like Fernando %26amp; Alessandro. I also like Dino but it is the name of the Flintstone's pet Dinosaur which could be a challenge growing up. Maybe Fernando Benito or Alessandro Benito. I think both of those are really nice together.

I would just stay away from names that are hard to spell or not very usual as I have a name that I always have to spell and people always ask me where does that name come from and I am sooooo tired of it. Plus my credit report is always messed up with all kinds of names that people come up with that misspell my name
