I like unique baby names. I cant decide which... Help?

Girls names

Hadley

Alexandra with the middle name Raine - German: One who gives advice

Teagan

Danika

Ainsleigh

Elysia - Latin: Blissful.

Nevah (Heaven backward, pronounced Nuh Vay UH)

And my fiance wants to name it

Adrian James if its a boy.

Adrian is his dads middle name and james is old friend.

Also, is there a way to combine the names Audrey and Emily into a cute middle name? (Two family members, and i would like to use their name)

What is your favorite out of these?

Thank you for your help =)

I like unique baby names. I cant decide which... Help?
Of these, Alexandra and Nevah/Nevaeh are absolutley NOT unique. Nevaeh is top fifty, and the trendiest name ever. It's hit top fifty after never being in the top thousand in six years. Alexandra and all its cousins (Alexandria, Alexa, Alexis, Alexia) have been in the top hundred since the 80's.

Of the actually unique ones, Elysia is confusing looking and a bit fussy. It has a nice meaning, but it would make a better middle name.

Teagan is really cute, but it sounds like a boy's name to me. I like Danica, but with a C instead of a K. Oddly enough, I like Annika more than Annica. Ainsleigh looks awkward and sounds a bit flimsy. While I don't love Hadley, it's kind of cute.

So, for your girl choices, I would pick Danica or Hadley.

I really like Adrian Jame. It's a great family name, and sounds cute but distinguished.

For the middle name combining Audrey and Emily, I wouldn't do it. I would choose one or the other and stick with it. Combined middle names are silly.
Reply:My name is Emily and my little sisters name is Audrey! :D Report Abuse

Reply:i have now fallen in love with the name Alexandra Raine, thanks! :)
Reply:My favorite is Alexandra Raine, and Adrian James is a perfect boys name. I might use that name for a character in a story im working on, that's why i got to this site.
Reply:ainsleigh is very pretty as well as hadley and alexandra..

adrian is a nice name for a boy..

a combination of audrey and emily that i can think of is emrey or audley.
Reply:Alexandra %26amp; Danika are my favorites! Alexandra Raine is beautiful. My oldest daughter is Alexandria Elizabeth, and my 4 yr old daughter is Dannicka Cheayne. Elysia is pretty too, I absolutely hate Nevaeh (just my opinion though).
Reply:I like Danika alot, I actually like them all but Nevaeh, it has become one of those played out, everyone is naming their kid that, names. Adrian is cute for a boy. As far as combining the names for a middle, what about Emrey?
Reply:Aden- that's my cousins name, I didn't like it at first but it fits her.
Reply:Combination of Audrey and Emily could be Emery. My son's middle name. Could also be used as a girls name. It means work ruler.
Reply:Hi! As to the name mix, how about "Aurelie" or "Aurely"?

Out of your list I like Elysia and Danika the best

Adrian James is a great name but I hope James is an old friend of yours too and not just his.
Reply:I like Alexandra and Teagan. Heaven backwards is spelled Nevaeh. So if you were to use that name for that purpose you would probably want to spell it that way.

Amily or Amrey for the middle name?
Reply:i like hadley and elysia and adrian is cute name for a boy but if you dont like it you could try adriel it works for a boy and a girl!
Reply:I agree with the first poster to skip the name Nevaeh. Ugh.

Danika is beautiful. I really love it. And I think Adrian is an AWESOME name for a boy. Really I like all of the names but Nevaeh. Good luck!
Reply:What beautiful names you've chosen. I can see why you are having a hard time deciding. You could always wait until the baby is born, see what his or her personality, appearance and what name they look like and decide then. Here are my favorites from the names you chose:

Girl:

Elysia

Ainsleigh

Raine (but I've heard a different spelling Reina)-this name means "Queen" in Spanish and I like it a lot.

The two names Audrey and Emily can be combined to form Millie Ray or Milirey as a cute nickname. Or you could shorten Emily to Millie and just use that, cute! Or use a varied spelling like Audrie or Emilie if you like.

We found out we are having another baby and we are also using my husband's father's first name (but as a middle name in our case). I think that is a great idea!

Congratulations and best wishes to you!
Reply:Hadley is my favorite name--I have been seeing it on yahoo answers quite a bit today!! I love it for a girl! I also like Teagen (but it is getting popular) and Ainsley. I doslike Danika and Nevah though.

Adrian seems slightly feminine to me for a boy.
Reply:I like Teagan the best....

How about Emery for combo of Audrey and Emily....

Teagan Emery sounds cute....

Adrian James is a good name....you can call him A.J for short....
Reply:Please ... whatever you do, don't name your child Nevaeh. That name is so common and it's not cute. Well, that's my opinion anyway. I like Ainsleigh and Elysia though.
Reply:seriously are parents these days thinking 'what is the stupidest thing I can name my baby.... ok that's it'

Yes I understand you want something unique.... but not something ridiculous (i hope) My parents used a common name ... just spelled it differently it actually makes more sense spelled my way. Adrian is ok, Audrey is ok, Elysia (are you pronouncing it A-LEE-SHA or EL-EE-SEE-A or EEL-ISH-A)
Reply:Combine Audrey and Emily into = Emery or Emrey

I like all of those names except Nevah.
Reply:I like Hadley and Danika, both are very nice. Adrian is nice name too but it's not good combination with James...
Reply:My friend has a Dannika its cute.. Teagan is nice, so is Raine alone. I would use family names as middle names.. I like Mieli (but m,iley cyrus in the USA has made it popular!), Pixie and Miami for girls and River, Preston and Archer for boy
Reply:Hadley is sort of cute..but more of a boy name....

I love Ainsley..but not w/ the Leigh part..its just too much...

I hate Nevaeh..and you didnt spell it right....

Adrian James is a nice name!

I dont know what to do w/ Audrey and Emily...

Emidrey...?

what about Audraly..kinda like pronouced Ah dra lee
Reply:I like Hadley.

I really DON'T like Nevaeh.
Reply:I don't like Hadley for a girl.

Teagan also sounds boyish.

I HATE the name Nevaeh-it's very popular right now too.

I think Danika is cute (like the girl racecar driver). Ainsleigh is also cute but I knew a little girl with that name and she was a little priss. Elysia is similar to Alisha which is pretty popular. Also I know a girl with the name Elysia and she was kind of prissy and annoying as well.

I think Adrian James is cute for a boy.

My #1 vote is for Danika
Reply:Thought of giving names from around the world a shot?

Boys:

Shahzad: (Shaah Zaad) Persian Origin, Of Royalty
Reply:I like Danika :)

I do not like Elysia
Reply:Im fond of and Teagan

Danika

Good Luck
Reply:Teagan sound really awesome and u cld use Janine as a middlle name.

I love the boys name to
Reply:I wonder if it's a good idea to give a name that needs spelling and pronunciation instructions to go with it. Is your last name kind of easy? (I would hope for the baby's benefit.) There reason I say this is that I live in a country where nobody can even guess at the spelling of my first name, my father's last name or my mother's last name--all of which they believe important to identifying me. I have to spell each of them, every single time. And they mispronounce all of them. This has been going on for 40 years. If I had it to do over, I think maybe I would change my name to something simpler.
Reply:What about Audralee? Or Audraly? Or Emadrey?
Reply:Elysia is really pretty. What about Elysia Raine?

I love the boy's name, Adrian James, it's very handsome (but perhaps I'm a bit biased because Adrian and James have always been favorites of mine ;) ).
Reply:Nevah is not a unique baby name . Everyone

has it now !

For a girl I like the name Teagan or Danika .

If i'm pregnant with a girl next time i'd love

to use the name

Jewelee (Jewel-Lee)

or Amaja (Ah-My-Ah)

Adrian is a nice name for a boy .

My Son's middle name is going to be

Cory James ( after my uncle and papa that passed

away) . So I love the name James as a middle name !

Congrats

and best wishes.
