Help us with our baby names...?

Love the fact that you have such a variety of names.

All great names too.

Good luck and I am sure you'll choose the right one!
Reply:I love Valintine, but if your going to use it for a guy, use the old english spelling Valentyne, with a 'y', because the y makes it masculine. when it has an 'i' it looks to feminine. Also, i love the name Carlisle, it just sounds so nice and, nice (pronounced carlyle, i hate when people say car-leez-ul, it pisses me of) i like Valentyne Carlisle, and yes i know its weird, but then so am i ;-) or Carlisle Valentyne (i like the 1st one better though) also, don't nasme your child after a company, or type's of cars they would definetly be mocked by other children, and also it comes of sounding trashy, like your poor, and trying to appear rich by naming your children 'wealthy' names. it's a don't.
Reply:Alaska Ferrari!? Sorry, but that is hilarious. You sure have one far out taste. There were some workable suggestions but others... oh dear. I for one love Lysander, but it's not a name for a little English speaking baby boy. Tristan Ryder is quirky, but not too out there. Good choice. Estonia and Croatia [ugh] may sound nice to you, but since you have no connection to these countries and most likely don't know the conditions I'd strongly advice against giving them as names. I mean Croatia? Not very cheerful. If you want an uncommon name pick one and team it up with a more traditional one. Otherwise it will be overwhelming and NOT in a good way. Luckily your surname is good with pretty much anything.

Edit: It's good to hear that you were not thinking of Croatia and Estonia just because they sounded exotic. ;) If your boyfriend has Estonian roots it could be justified as a nod to his heritage. Still not sure if it's the prettiest name out there. While Croatia may not be the most poverished, miserable country in the world it is still getting on it's feet after the war. That's what I meant by 'conditions'. You have a point though. Lysander although used by Shakespeare is Greek, although again you have a point. :) Besides Lysander is a fun character in the play. I think it's still a bit too 'poetic' and foreign though. If you like Lysander you might like Leander. Also Greek, but has a more familiar air to it.

Reply:You had some great names! I love that they are different. I really liked Lysander %26amp; Portia. Great classics.
Reply:i liked Edan and Mercedes
Reply:Annabella Rose and Ryland Alexander get my top votes. There are some others that I thought were nice, but those two were the best one, in my opinion. Some of the others did not strike my fancy though. It was not too many names! I would have a long list too :) Good luck with whatever you chose. I am sure it will fit just great.
