Baby names?

Im 8 months pregnant with my baby. I dont know what to call it, please help? These are some names we have picked out what do you think of them?





Girls:


Chastity Delta LaShandra

Shyne Marelle Saylor





Boys:


Maverick Marquise Danger


or


Ramone Jaystin Laker

Baby names?
I like all those names and I suggest you keep them in mind. When the baby is born you will have a sense of the name that fits the babies personality/looks. I have tried to decide for sure before my babies were born and end up picking one, even a totally different one once, after the baby was born.

Reply:I like Monique Saylor, nice name! Boys name is a bit different, but also nice. I love the name Nevicia or Kiara for a little girl, and Tyson or Devon for a little boy. Good luck with finding a name, it is always difficult!

Girls - any one out of LaShandra, Shyne, Marelle, or Saylor is fine, I guess Marelle sounds the best out of those. Naming her Chastity will make her too much of a target (sorry). Delta is cool in a way, but reminds me too much of Delta Airlines.





Boys - Ramone is the only one that I think of as a boys name. Jaystin is OK, but why not "Justin"? "Jay" is becoming more of a girl's name so "Jaystin" might sound feminine to some. Calling him Maverick or Danger is interesting but could get him picked on. Besides, Maverick and Laker remind me too much of NBA teams.

Reply:Why 2 middle names? I personally think people are getting "over-original" with baby names lately. But of your choices I like Saylor for a girl and Maverick for a boy.

remember this child has to grow up. do you really want it to have to spell it out all the time when people ask its name?

Reply:Baby naming is a serious thing and shouldn't be done haphazardly like you are doing. By the sound and intentional misspelling of the names I am assuming you are a low income african american or that you associate with them. african americans in low income communities choose these names unconsciously to show their loyalty to their race and community. Unfortunately the name will later cause discrimination against your child. He will be less likely to get a respectable job with a name like that. It's perfect for drive-by's though.


You should do some research in social economics real quick to find some normal names that won't stigmatize him/her.

Reply:Do you have enough money to get away with giving your baby such a bizzarre name? It's one thing when Angelina does it, but........
